How To Ripen a Persimmon
It’s best to buy persimmons before they’re ripe, and then ripen them at home. Simply place your unripe persimmons in a paper bag to speed up the process. When they’re ripe, place the bag in the fridge. Interestingly, persimmons are ripe when they turn orange, not red.
