This recipe features Filippo Berio Extra Light Olive Oil
- 1 cup orange juice
- 1 egg
- 2 egg whites
- 1/3 cup skim milk
- 1 teaspoon orange extract
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- ¼ teaspoon salt (optional)
- ¼ cup Filippo Berio Extra Light Olive Oil, divided
- 8 thick slices of stale bread
- 1 fresh orange, sliced (for garnish)

Method: Stove Top Cooking
- In a large bowl beat orange juice, egg, egg whites, milk, orange extract, sugar, salt (if desired), and 3 tablespoons olive oil with a wire whisk until well blended.
- Soak bread in the mixture until liquid is absorbed.
- Heat remaining 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a skillet or on a griddle. Cook bread until lightly browned on a side, turn and brown the second side. Repeat with remaining bread.
- Serve garnished with orange slices.
